The 3ECEES Local Organizing Committee (LOC) and 360 Revolution’s staff and volunteers are all working hard to make 3ECEES an effective and enjoyable in-person event while prioritizing your safety.

3ECEES COVID-19 Policy

Our decisions and preventive measures are guided by the requirements and recommendations of the Romanian Ministry of Health and local health authorities.

All attendees and their guests are expected to comply with all applicable requirements imposed by national or local health authorities in Romania.

Individuals should not attend the conference if they:

• are experiencing, or within the 5 days prior, have experienced signs and symptoms of COVID-19;
• believe that they have been exposed to a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19 or
• have been diagnosed with COVID-19 and are not yet cleared as non-contagious by the healthcare team responsible for treatment.

The following preventative safety precautions will apply at the 3ECEES:

1. Attendees are recommended to wear a mask while at the conference.
2. Attendees must provide their own mask, which must cover their noses and mouths. Masks will be made available at the registration area for those whose personal mask gets damaged or who are missing one.
3. Unless otherwise noted, attendees must wear masks in all 3ECEES venues, except under the following conditions:
   1. While actively eating or drinking.
   2. Though many presenters may choose to present in their face covering, it may be removed while actively presenting or serving on a panel.
   3. Participants who cannot wear face coverings due to a medical or mental health condition or disability, or who are hearing-impaired or communicating with a hearing-impaired person, shall wear an effective, non-restrictive alternative, such as a face shield with a drape on the bottom, if their condition permits it.
4. All presenters are expected to use provided materials to sanitize their hands, microphones, and presentation area after their presentation.
5. The venue will be set up to provide 2 meters of distance between presenters, moderators, and panellists, to the extent feasible.
6. LOC recommends that attendees wash or sanitize their hands frequently, and minimize face touching.

LOC reserves the right to modify these policies due to changing circumstances. A notification will be sent to all registered attendees and posted on the conference website should changes be made.

Affirmation of 3ECEES COVID-19 Policy & Liability Waiver

By attending the 3ECEES:

• I have read and understand the 3ECEES COVID-19 Policy.
• I understand that travel to and participation in events may increase the risk of exposure to communicable diseases or other unforeseen dangers. I hereby forever release, waive, and discharge my right to bring suit against LOC and 360 Revolution, members, employees and volunteers for fault, negligence, or conduct in connection with exposure, infection, and/or spread of COVID-19 or other disease or injury related to attending this event.
• I attest that: (i) I am not experiencing, or within the 5 days prior, have experienced signs and symptoms of COVID-19; (ii) I believe that I haven’t been exposed to a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19; (iii) I have not been diagnosed with COVID-19 within 10 days prior; if this is the case. I am cleared as non-contagious by the healthcare team responsible for treatment. I understand that failure in the attestation of any point (i), (ii) or (iii) may result in the cancellation of my conference registration and I will not be entitled to a refund of any registration or publication fees paid.
• I agree to comply with all health and safety guidelines put forth related to this event and am committed to taking precautions recommended by national or local agencies which may include, but are not limited to, wearing a face mask in public areas when not consuming food or beverage, maintaining 2 meters of distance between other participants, minimizing face touching, and washing or sanitizing my hands frequently.
• I will not attend this event if I have had recent exposure to a COVID-19 case, experience any symptoms of COVID-19 within seven days of the event, or have not been cleared as non-contagious by the healthcare team responsible for my treatment of a diagnosed COVID-19 case.
• I understand that my failure to comply with all safety protocol procedures as listed in the 3ECEES COVID-19 Policy or any direction from LOC onsite may result in immediate removal from the event and cancellation of the registration without refund.
